The mididelay plugin offers an innovative adaptation of the traditional delay effect specifically designed for MIDI data processing. It provides a versatile set of features suitable for complex MIDI manipulations.
Key features include:
<ul>
<li>Eight independent delay lines equipped with feedback capabilities.</li>
<li>Processing options encompass MIDI notes, control change messages, aftertouch, polyphonic key pressure, and pitch bend messages.</li>
<li>Feedback handling allows for adjustment of the "feedback level" applied to all message types; note velocities can be altered, while other messages can be mixed using three modes: average, minimum, or maximum.</li>
<li>The delay lines can be organized into various configurable algorithms, functioning sequentially and/or in parallel structures.</li>
<li>An internal feedback chain includes three effects: scale quantization, pitch alteration, and velocity value randomization.</li>
<li>Presets contain three distinct scenes labeled "A," "B," and "C," with crossfading capabilities and an overall effect intensity adjustable via a 2D pad.</li>
<li>A simplified mode is available, featuring a single delay with scene morphing functionality.</li>
</ul>
Additionally, mididelay is available as a standalone application and supports AUv3 compatibility for integration within digital audio workstations.
